What is Hydroseeding?

Hydroseeding is a process where grass seed, water, mulch and sometimes fertilier are combined in a unit called a hydroseeder and sprayed out over prepared soil. The mulch helps to retain moisture and also allows to seed to ‘stick’ to the soil. It is much faster than hand seeding and produces better lawn than sod if you are patient (better established root base).
